And there is a great pace as leveling up, and watching your ability to get higher score rewards the player. The partner stuff (where you combine two 'helper' characters) is cool. And what I really didn't enjoy was how there was no story, some odd Egwish, and felt very bare bones. However I wish as I traversed this game in the 20-30 hours I spent playing, was more interesting layouts and better 'Adult' skills (you assign three characters to give special boosts). There isn't any incredibly intricate move sets or dynamic set pieces like in a Aerial Knight's Never Yield which is a unique game on it's own. What you get is something incredibly unique, because it is a basic game. The game has no micro transactions and it doesn't require them, or if it did it is better without them.
But I like this more than most because of it's series ties.
